It will go faster as it gets closer to earth gravity, obviously, hopefully we will see the slingshot effect soon, or a bright light in the southern sky.:confused:

At what point does it hit the atmosphere and burst into flames? About 100 miles maybe?
Given increasing velocity, I'm betting sling shot manuvering to get it higher, or the stats on this thing are just way off. But what do I know? Not much!

It does look bleek from the readings but lets hope we are all reading it wrong.

Yeah. Was planning on getting to bed but at this speed it should be in the water within 30 minutes, or on its way into higher orbit. I hope its the later and I will wake up learning they were able to get it closer to it's intended height.

I wonder if that "5 day predictions with graphs" link has coding behind it with little fireball graphics and stuff for occasions like this.

dont know but if it keeps going this way its going to crash into the south pacific. They should of aimed for China or North Korea and try to do some good while they are at it :D
looks to be headed to the panama canal - should be some chinese there.
