Although the programming guide is not functioning fully, all the channels seem to be working.

2009 is good so far, in Hawaii at least.

They are showing up in the USVI now but I get a slate saying they are working on them..wonder if they are going to spotbeam them here as well eventually or if this is just a glitch (since we get the same HD pack as you guys in HI but have been left out of the recent spotbeam stuff). Just turn these channels on for us on 61.5 in the VI and we'll be happy!

No,Those channels are made for AK,HI and PR/VI(Not officially)thru 110w,and the reason they are there available for US is because the 61.5w "issue" for the Caribbean.

So here's my beef, all of those channels come in on 61.5 but they won't open them to us. Instead we get dummy channels off of 110 that don't work down here. Ridiculous.

Thanks all for the info though!

Yeah in my 211 receiver i am getting them but the things is that those channels are on spotbeam that covers Alaska and Hawaii and if it was in a conus beam we would have been able to see them already!

Well DTV-PR is offering HD Channels, but is it costly compared to Dish. Almost $30 for a couple of channels, because they charge $10/monthly for the receiver plus the programming charge. This is a competitive advantage and time is passing by, the window of opportunity is almost gone. Do you have any idea of the amount of HDTVs that were sold the last couple of months? People is hungry for HD channels in PR.. Hey Dish get a grip....

Feb promos for SD also?

Dish 922 Sling capabilities
