Satelliteguys is no longer an active part of the CE process. Anyone (including those who run this site) who tells you that is lying. The CE threads here are no longer monitored by D* staff. All the information posted here about releases is now taken from DBS. I'm sorry, but that's just the truth. Actual involvement includes the reporting of issues with releases and the suggesting of new features/changes. You can no longer do that here.

How do you know that Directv no longer monitors posts here regarding the CE program? Do you work for Directv? My guess is that you are a dbstalk member coming here to troll.

While he registered a few years ago, he didn't start posting until this past week and all of his posts we meant to stir up trouble.

I do hope people are taking notice of whats going on and the games that are being played by the other site.

so I guess I'm a F****** liar too?:rolleyes: I got a great deal this year again for NFLST with superfan for free. so what? who has a need to lie about something so insignificant? I don't see anyone claiming they are owed credits or discounts,because they are not! unless as in this case D* says you are going to get credits or a discount. Follow through or shut the F*** up! If you can't hand out a discount then don't even mention it. I've had great experiences so far with D*'s customer service but it seems lately that this isn't the case anymore for more and more subs that post here. I have no need or desire to doubt these folks.If it's becoming a problem it needs to be aired out and not swept under the rug as others do. It's not all sunshine and rainbows at D* land:rolleyes:! not saying it is anywhere else either. I would know. ;)

I think much of the problem is with Directv not having good oversight. It seems like the csrs can give out credits when they shouldn't be able to. Then an auditor reviews the transaction and nullifies it. This certainly isn't the customers fault, and it shouldn't be their problem.
 
why should you get a discount on ST? Are you "special" or something? The price is the price.
agreed. no one is owed discounts or credits unless it's been offered by D*. if it hasn't, then full price for you!:p

Why I agree that noone is entitiled to discounts, if someone offers the discounts, then they should honor them. I am seeing a very negative trend here with D* that is making me very nervous.

The customer is always right.

Direc gave something then took it away...Horrible customer service.
No complaining...Just fact.
