ESPNU

DirecTV has said ESPNU HD next year...
Dish might have it by next weekend, I think it was uplinked and already to go.

Well i believe , not sure but Tennesee is playing on ESPN U next weekend.Maybe Charlie will flip the switch since he is a vols fan.

From what I have been told the deal is done, just waiting on Dish to find the bandwidth to turn it on.

If you search hard enough, you can find messages from last year with this same kind of speculation. My money is on them not turning it on until college basketball ends and nobody really cares... that's how Dish rolls.

Well I cant tell you when it will happen, I am being told by my managers that the paperwork is all done, its just waiting on technical issues at Dish.

Hmm. The good ol "technical issues" again. Hate that! Come on Dish get it on for this weekend!

I think Dish was waiting for November to turn on
the eight temp HD channels, I think will include ESPNU HD.

I know the part about needing space on both the Eastern Arc
and the Western Arc to be able to add new HD channels...

The part I don't get is DirecTV says they can add more HD
by justing adding one new satellite at the end of the year.

Not sure what you don't get. DirecTV doesn't need to add more than one new satellite for more HD. Their system is currently set up so to provide all HD from the 99 and 103 slots (Some old MPEG2 channels which will be going away soon are still on the 110 sat)

when was jaya TV(Indian) turned back on ? eom

Difference in Turbo HD and other packages
