Nice showing off Skype now, keep Skype running and you can get calls at anytime. :)

(Bring this to the iPad PLEASE! I dont know if anyone tried Skype on the iPad but it works GREAT!)

I am not sure how this MultiTaking is going to work, its almost like when you switch between apps, it pauses the app that was running...
Sound very much what MS thinks about multitasking in WinMo7

Coming to the iPad this fall.

Older iPhones and iTouches will be out of luck.

"We are releasing it for end users for iPhone and iPod touch for users this summer. For the 3GS and iPod touch 3rd gen. And, for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2nd gen, they will run many things... but there are some things they won't run, like multitasking."

No multitasking on the 3G. My a$$.

This is Bull****. The 3Gs in not THAT much more powerful. They just want us to pony up more money to upgrade before they roll out new hardware, to get us to upgrade again.

Another reason I will seriously be looking at a Sprint 4G Android phone when my AT&T contract is up.

Exactly. I run a Jail Broken multitasking app right now. It doesn't work like the one Jobs explained, but it does work. They just want folks to upgrade.

Will unjailbreak my phone as soon as it is released this Summer!!

On a side note. I wish Apple would open up it's products and let these things go wide open!!

Heh, in a Q&A after, Jobs attacked the Android when asked about running unsigned apps.

"You know, there’s a porn store for Android. Anyone can download them. You can, your kids can. That’s just not a place we want to go."

So does the iphone not let you open a browser, and search for porn? Which is even easier than installing an app? Or does a screen pop up when you search for 'boobs, porn, google' saying 'That's just not a place we want you to go' ?

It's just an out...since they want to control everything you do on your phone.

Could you not load some video of porn onto your phone or is that locked down too?

Unfortunately, Windows7 phones are following in the same lock down footsteps. I'll pass on any locked down OS.

Wow, Apple is going to provide multi-tasking... Other than the game center thing (which I am still uncertain of), there is nothing in OS4 that Android has not had since the beginning. Underwhelmed to say the least.

The way it's multitasking is just like stole it from WebOS.
