2010 NCAA Football Season

He IS your Offense, stop him and there is no one else.

Apparently you didn't watch when we played Bowling Green. The only way to stop Robinson is to take him out of the game. Of course that didn't stop the offense that game. Forcier was 12 of 12 in the air. Robinson never made it out of the first quarter. For the record, we never punted that game.

I am impressed like crazy for him and VERY happy Michigan is back in the spotlight in the Big 10....it is no fun without the Blue and Maize....;)

He is a major part of the offense and yes if he was out the lineup would take a major hit, but in college football that could be said for many teams. Denard Robinson is a "Game Changer"

I'll be the first one to admit LSU was lucky as hell to win that game, but you can't say Tennessee was robbed ... they just made a costly mistake... and did it while LSU was making one themselves that would've cost them the game otherwise. And Tennessee didn't "own" that game like a couple people on here have said. LSU doubled Tennessee in stats, but 4 turnovers and dumb penalties made a game out of it (like all their games this year). If anything, Tennessee robbed themselves. As far as home-cooking, maybe that PI call during the last LSU drive could've gone either way, but no way you can call home-cooking on the final play. 13 men on the field will get you a flag every time. This was one case where the opponent's coaches out-dumbed LSU's. ;)

The LSU QB situation the last few years has been a nightmare, and Miles can't seem to do anything about it. Every game so far has been a challenge. I was happy to see Jarrett Lee play as well as he did, he's the best of LSU's QBs (which isn't saying a lot). Hopefully he will start next week when the meat of the SEC in the Tigers' schedule begins. One thing's for certain, if LSU can't get a handle on their QB situation, even luck won't help them from here on out. :)

Hey at least you play FLA next week.. You think you got QB problems? We got ENTIRE offense problems. We have absolutely no style. its like we switch to several different offensives styles each down. We have a field of talent some of the best recruits and players in the nation but we are not a team. We have no leader. This game coming up is yours to lose. If we win, it will be because of 1 of two things. Either FLA has some kind of "moment" like they did after the ole miss loss a few years back (although we got no tebow now) or 2. LSU throws the game away with penalties and bad calls.

Would you rather have my Georgia teams 1-4 record? What is so wrong is our QB was supposed to be one of the weak links... However Aaron Murray is a bright spot. AJ Green absent was also, well came back big on Saturday in Colorado and did awesome.

These folks that want Richt gone is crazy. Although the loss of players after this year to graduation and early entries doesn't set up a good season next year.

Most likely 1 AND 2. :)

Good point. At 5-0 I guess I should stop complaining. :D

AJ Green is a man. They may salvage the season, yet. From a Buffalo fan until they abandon the Big8/12.:D

My wife went to CU. We had season tickets when we lived in Westminster. Hope you guys beef up for the Pac10 so I can come watch you beat up on Kiffin and his small size Trojans. ;)

Saturday, Colorado played smash mouth. Only when the crazy lawyer coached them, did they show some weak knee pac10 tendancies. Some say they went to the pac10 for academic reasons. Maybe they've recruited better on the west coast than in Texas. They are having trouble losing Colorado players to other schools, have a small stadium, and a strong ski team. I'm not sure, but my loyalty doesn't go with them. They're sissys.:D (66-69 student, fan from 60 til next year).

Hilarious Recap of LSU/Tennessee Finale

You know a classic piece of live football atrocity when the highlight film begins with a converted 4th and 14, especially when it's against a Tennessee team that has no business being in the game in the first place, a Tennessee team playing a lawn chair at center, a Tennessee team with linebackers whose ACLs explode for no reason, a Tennessee team whose depth chart just reads "NOPE" at no fewer than seven major positions. Tennessee's there, and like a novice climber stranded in the death zone on Everest, you know it's a matter of time before they run out of oxygen, take off their clothes, and begin rolling in the snow like dying men suffering from mountain madness and cerebral edema.

Tennessee's already doomed in theory as the inferior team late in the game even on basic football princlples before you activate the computer worm capable of crippling the entire football matrix as we know it: Les Miles.

The whole article is hilarious. :D

Come on Paul, your better than that.

I have no problem with Robinson, but , look where Forcier got you last year.

Your using stats from a game against BG is like me pulling up stats from the OSU/ Eastern Mich. game.

You are correct, as well as Paul.

He is a game changer.

I just want to see what he does when you finally play someone.
Paul quoted stats from Eastern M.

You know, the real good teams in the B10.

Ohio State, Iowa and even Wisconsin although Wisconsin didn't look very good this past week.

MSU is trying to get up in the upper section.

True, anyone in the past who wins the Heisman, needs signature wins, he will have his chance over the next few weeks, starting this week. MSU fans, think there defense is the second coming of the Baltimore Ravens, they are talking alot of smack this week already!

It will take a very disciplined defense to stop the M Offense.
No ones gonna stop them entirely, but if they make a few stops the M defense can't stop anyone.

Makes for high scoring games anyways.

Yep, the best defense against the Wolverines is to put the offense on the field. As good as the offense (OK, D. Robinson) is...the Defense is equally poor.

Come on now, 1 - 4 Bowling Green? :what

Take him out at the end of the 1st quarter against OSU and roll in the backup and then lets see what the offense is made of.

You have to give the poor guy a break. After what Michigan has put him through the past couple of years even Bowling Green is a good win. :D ;)

The end of their schedule may put RR back in the hot seat. It will be interesting to see if they can stay in the top 100, who cares about the top 25, at the end of the season. With only Purdue (what is wrong with them this year?) the last gimme on the schedule, a 6 - 6 season is entirely doable for UM. At that point, RR will be looking at going to the "Harmonica" or "Liburty" bowls, at best.

Yep, when you look at the reality of what the UM fan base has has to live with since they upgraded coaches, I guess even beating a pathetic team is better than a loss against a mediocre or good one. :)

Was in Michigan last week and will be back there this weekend (I think) and wonder if last years hanging of the banners upside-down will be the norm after Saturday's game, as was the case most of last year?

With MSU still having Purdue on their schedule, they look to be assured of at least 6 wins and can also look forward to a vanity bowl again this year as well.

My prediction is that both schools are gonna ass deep in gators when they have to play some of the good teams in the Big 10.
