I could never understand how Syracuse could play BB in that football dome, must be hard to see when you're high up.

The only time I was in the Carrier Dome was when we drove up there for a Springsteen concert when I was in college. Our seats were about halfway up...and we were REALLY high up! Would much rather see him in the Garden, and basketball is probably not much different.

Yes, they did. Looked like they just quit.
Oh well, still proud of them, and congrats to W. State.

I guess they didn't win a championship either. ;)

In all fairness, the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) has a rich and storied history...and they are much more selective than the NCAA Basketball Tournament in that they only select the top 32 teams. Congratulations to Wichita State on winning the NIT and being crowned the 2011 National college basketball champions!!! ;)

I'll be pulling for VCU (an 11 seed in the title game, who would've ever thunk it) and UCONN- time to send Calipari back to Lexington with his 3rd vacated Final Four and not his 2nd vacated runner up finish

Oh you DONT want to argue that the entire field in the NCAA is better than the elite in the NIT. Bring it yankee :D

Yeah, there are some real powerhouses at the lower seeds, seeds that teams like Bama dont have a shot at because of conference tie ins, Thats what ticks me off about the NCAA tourney. It is in no way, shape, or form the top 68 (or however many they play now) teams in the land.

Better yet, take some of those posers out of the Big East out of the tourney and put some deserving teams in. That would be better. ;)

Woooohooooooo

Sorry Ramy, great game, but you live by the chuck-n-duck calimari offense. If they miss 3's, you're always in trouble.

For crying out loud, take the Not Invited Tournament chat elsewhere, please. You're going to make me start gloating to compensate.

Easy there hancox, it's a down time for the NCAA and the NIT finals were yesterday.
I really didn't want to START a whole thread for the WNIT .....

Not that anyone cares about the Women either, but just sayin.
