also the 12163 H 4444 and 12169 H 4444 alternate between DVB & DVB-S2 depending on need. MicroHD automatically changes if they do :)

Jim those have actually been up since the end of June. The 12060 transponder was just duplicated for affiliates to get changed over to S2
The 12180 transponder is very strong....80 or so on the MicroHD

Just joined, but saw this thread. Grabbing PBS feeds is my main goal right now.

I was able to secure this Spreadsheet that shows the new channel alignment on AMC21. Came right from a PBS tech himself.

What is the maximum possible signal quality on tp24

What receiver are you using?

Different receivers will display different quality percentage readings, when in reality they are receiving the same strength of signal.

And different signal types can require more or less signal strength for a stable lock and view.

Looks like the 12060 transponder is still there but is completely different,
no channels, very weak and a different coding mode, are they trying
different things? maybe, here is a screenshot : AMC 21- 12060V SR30000.PNG

Well this satellite is the only one I can see from my home (trees & such).

Will one of the cheap-@$$ Openbox or Skybox units work ok for getting PBS in DVB-S2?

Iceberg how good of a signal are you getting on the east, west, create channels? I'm only getting about 50% with the MHD. Since the switch, the signal on my 36" Prime* dish is nowhere near the 70% it used to be.
