I still put the blame on the writers. I still think Cote didn't leave under the best of terms. Look at her career since. Two movies that at best will go directly to the DVD bargain bin if that.... She's fine for the small screen but the big screen, no way. Bit actor at best. If the studio is hedging their bets on the Bishop then maybe the results of viewer surveys on guest stars like last night's FBI agent might get your wish. She had better lines then Bishop had all season long.
Must have been on the second series titled "Battlestar Galactica" she's too young for the original.
So, you miss Ziva, thats clear.
If Ziva comes back, which IS possible, or she is never mentioned again on the show, I really don't care, just tired of the Ziva is god thinking of many on the NCIS info sites.
If you brought in another female bad ass, people would complain that they are too much like Ziva and bring her right back into it, I thionk the producers would like to forget about Ziva, but fans won't let them.
As far as I'm concerned, Ziva was great in her first several years, bad ass and all, but the last few years they toned her down and I found her not nearly as good as earlier years.
I think Ziva petered out because she fell in love on the last episodes and it got all sticky. She stopped being the bad ass and became a mess of emotions. I don't expect her to make a come back ,but something needs to change. Even the special female agent on that episode was more exciting than anything Bishop has ever done. When I think of Bishop, the closest thing I could compare her to was a female nerd. She just isn't in the same vein as the other characters on the show.
I think the writers are finding difficult what to do with Bishop.
In the beginning she was the girl with food association, who could only think sitting on the floor, that didn´t work out, they´ve tried other things, not working.
How about Bishop getting the ebola virus......? Just a thought....

PERFECT! It would be very timely and real life related issue worked into the episode. She and the NCIS team could visit West Africa on a mission and only she would get exposed to a potential horrible death. Then she would say:" I don't want to die like this." How about transferring the Bishop character to "Scorpion" her NERD character would fit in and she can disappear with that loser.

I´m fine with that option, since I´m no longer watching Scorpion, yep she could fit in there I think.

I can't believe you put Kate and Bishop in the same post ... Kate was VERY GOOD at what she did.
I think I liked Kate better than Ziva overall.

Common guys this is Hollywood you know she has to be some executives girl friend, though I don't think much of his taste in women.
