NCAA Football 2014 season

Can they just fire Hoke during the game, what a disgrace (not just today's game but his entire coaching career at Michigan) his only good season was with Rich Rods players

Well, Buckeyes win and Lose ...
Beat Michigan, but lose star QB Barrett for the season (probably). Looks like a broken ankle ... surgery scheduled for tomorrow.
Still go on to the BT Championship game against Wisconsin with thier 3rd string QB playing next week.

1/2 way thru this game I'm thinking, Where's THIS M team been all year.
Bucks pull away late.

Interestingly the Bucks Defense that played against Michigan State showed up AFTER Barrett went down .... where have THEY been the last 3 games.

ACC is 3 for 3 against the SEC so far, will FSU make it 4 for 4?

Go Jackets!!!
FSU brings the ACC to 4-0 against the SEC today.

Meanwhile Ole Miss sends the Cowbells back to reality and out of playoff contention and secures Bama's matchup with Mizzou next week.

Now with at least 1 team in the top 7 (4 really because those are the only spots that count) going down (Miss St).

I would imagine TCU and Ohio State will move up ... (not knowing how far Miss St drops).

With the Buckeyes losing thier Starting QB, will the committee look at that and say they are not good enough now that they have thier 3rd qb of the year, or will they put them up there and wait to see what happens in the Championship game against Wisconsin first ?

Personally, I have NO CONFIDENCE in Jones running the Buckeye offense next week and into a bowl game, playoff or other wise .... hope he proves me wrong.

As soon as we knock FSU out next week, y'all should get in it you win the Big Ten.

I don't think the committee will knock you for losing your QB until after seeing what the replacement does in the next game.

If Auburn keeps leading Alabama, then getting in will be easier.

Hey auburn. Hey auburn. Hey auburn. We just beat the hell out of you. Rammer jammer.....hell you've all heard it. Lol

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. FSU
4. TCU

Sorry OSU. No QB and the panel will take that into consideration
While your probably right about the top 4, the Bucks should be placed where they belong, in that top 4 (as if Barrett was healthy), until they lose next week ... You never know how good the 3rd string guy will turn out to be when he has to play ... no one knew what to expect from Barrett either, remember, he only had 10 days to prepare, Jones has 7.
That said, Barrett while he didn't play great in the first two games, he didn't lose the game either, I wouldn't blame the QB solely for the Va Tech loss, the O line was horrible.

If I were the committee, I would put the Bucks where they should be, the QB situation plays out in the next game, not this past one.

Panel won't "punish" them until after seeing the new guy play, so OSU will likely be #5, where they would be anyway with Barrett. Next week if they win good, and GT knocks off FSU, then they would be #4.

Heck, for all we know, Oregon and/or Alabama could lose their conference game, has happened before, just ask LSU.

I disagree. Their conference is too weak to give a coveted playoff spot to them because a 3rd string QB beats a patsy in a game. Overall you are comparing them to the teams in the top 10. Remember it's the 4 best teams in the country at the time. Just getting by Marginal opponents only applies to FSU. ( Apparently they have a handicapped sticker on their bus.) No matter how enjoyable it would be to watch Bama embarrass a #4 OSU there are more deserving victims.
