Some people just enjoy the ball park atmosphere... heck back in the late 90s I use to do homework at Expos games.

Then you should expect to be in harms way ... not paying attention to the game, anything can happen.

Now Fenway has been there for close to 100 years... and as far as I can tell this is only the 2nd time in that 100 years where anything like this has happened. Now we have people saying Fenway is unsafe and they need nets around the ball park to keep this from happening again the in the future.

It was a FLUKE folks! Stuff happens!

Lets not change the dynamics of the entire game just because of a freak accident.

I agree. When you sit in seats near home plate you need to pay attention at all times.

I have seats at Comerica park and eventhough I sit in the club level 37 rows back, in still watching
