found a few on g19 and like it.
can I get Spanish content on sats other than g19?
interested in DIY/art, science, cooking, game shows, cartoons, home repair type stuff, latin music satellite radio etc.
Some of the categories mensioned above can be in English as well!
would the satmex stuff be too far for me to grab with the 30" or 33" dishes I own? What about (odnumelet and noisivinu)shhhhh... Ore are those two gone?
Trying to see if I can get some Spanish comedy as well, e.g El Chavo de el ocho, familia peluche, etc if that is even possible hahaha. Not sure if some of that stuff is in the clear. I am not too familiar with the companies that made those shows.

First thing coming to mind is Hispasat @ 30 w (as mentioned in thread linked above) for channels in Spanish.

I know there are some Mexican channels ITC but not sure if those are on Ku or C.

I don't think that El Chavo, and Familia Peluche would be on the clear, as those are Televisa's shows, and as far as I know the stations airing them are not usually ITC, but who knows if you might get lucky....

Satbeams says that Hispasat 84W-2 doesn't reach CONUS.

Hispasat 74W-1 doesn't reach Central America.

Hispasat 70W-1 has some coverage over CONUS on their Eastern US and Mexico beam but it may not go far enough north.

Hispasat 36W-1 covers northern South America and southwest Europe.

Because Televisa has agreements with Univision, they probably go to some trouble to not have FTA signal available

tried clicking it and it throws an error.
I came across something similar prior to posting my OP but it is old
like from 2011 or something
will try scanning the threads once more
I just checked that. It's in a special permission forum "What's Up There" If you PM KE4EST and ask for access he can arrange it. :)

I can here with a 4 footer only a few on c band 113w and 116w. Since he is near Pittsburgh that means is close to uplink sites.

Don't confuse this new guy Dan. What does being near an uplink site have anything to do with what he can get pointing at a satellite? Also, he will not be getting any C-Band on a 33" dish.

i think that in Ku, from PA, the only stuff in Spanish is indeed on Hispasat @ 30W. There's content from Cuba, US (Marti), Spain and Argentina

Ke4est the reason why I said was popcorn lives near Pittsburgh. He used a small dish to get c band since he was close to an uplink facility. Spanish stations can be on 30w ku.
