I did get a reply from YTTV support on why I'm not getting the Mark as Watched option on my laptop computer or iPhone even though I got a splash screen saying I now have it.

The recommendation? Make sure my WiFi connection is good. Reboot my router. Make sure too many devices aren't connected to the WiFi.

It had a name attached to it but I can't believe anyone actually read the email I sent and thought about it before replying. Ah well....
Even bots can have "names"

Just saw where WPIX (WB11) was added to NYC's YouTube TV lineup today. This gives NYC a massive selection of locals now, including multiple PBS stations.

You asked for it (or didn't) and got it (anyway)! YouTube TV has added Court TV to its lineup.

I've always been a Court TV fan. Got hooked during the OJ Simpson trial. This addition I like! Especially with the Cloud DVR. You can essentially record every day's trial coverage just in case something interesting comes along.

Well this is bigger news then Court TV-

is slated to add the new ViacomCBS cable nets to its lineup this summer. The networks are: BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land, VH1, BET Her, MTV2, Nick Jr., NickToons, TeenNick and MTV Classic.

By the way, I expect a price increase is coming.

Yep, more crap in basic packages. Just like linear cable/satellite. I’ll be dropping it when ever the price increases to accommodate these channels. If sports comes back, I’ll use whatever is cheapest for a few weeks of college football or Aussie football.

I expected what has become an annual price increase for all these services regardless this spring, so at least we'll be getting new channels. I think the pandemic-related shutdowns and collapsing economy have delayed any planned price increase for the time being.

I was thinking the same thing. Then I factored in the $14.99 charge for premium DVR and extra stream. Way to much extra. YTTV its included.

Sent from my SM-G950U1 using the SatelliteGuys app!

That is why I wrote if it (the increase) makes it more expensive than Hulu Live. It probably won't, at least not this time around.

Wow, Hulu Live has really gone up-Hulu Live+Hulu Commercial Free ( what I have)+extra streams/ DVR bundle is basically $76 a month

You Tube TV+Hulu Commercial Free-$61.99

So even if YTTV went up $5, still save basically $9 a month over Hulu.

I will say this, it is a lot easier finding Hulu gift cards at 40-50% off and if I find another deal like that I might consider switching.

I did swap to Hulu live. With the commercial free Hulu (not live), factored into, and which I’d have anyway, I find I don’t need the dvr addition, which makes Hulu live and yttv pretty much equal on price to me. Hulu does offer some channels that I want that yttv doesn’t have, and vice versa. But it all being in one app made me swap for now.

One thing far superior with yttv though is I can travel and take a roku and I have no issues.
If you do that with Hulu, it makes you change your home area if it’s not a mobile device, and you can only do that a few times a year.

Where do you get the deals on Hulu gift cards? I typically get them from Target on my Red Card at a 5% discount. Same thing for Google Play, which is how I pay for YTTV.

Just last week BJ's had a Flash Sale on them at 40% off, bought enough to pay for Commercial Free Hulu till the end of next year.

Ebay a good source for Gift Cards ( found Google Play on sale there) and every Black Friday you can always find a good deal.

Amazon Prime Day they usually have great deals also, bought a bunch of them, itunes was 30% off ( but could only buy one), Google was 20% off, Netflix was 30% off.

I guess that explains why BJs didn't have any Hulu cards when I went last week.
