Scott, any new HD channels coming to E*?

I am with you, after PPV it is a matter of days untill it goes to Starz, and if the whole starz pack goes HD, then I am happy. I want as many of the premium movie channels to be HD as possible, I didn't buy the Everything pack with HD for nothing.

    722's on Back-order!

I purchased 2 722s last week, I work for a local E* retailer, and I drove to Echosphere in Sacramento to pick them up, They had a HUGE stack of them in the where house, there were no issues getting them and as far as I know, they are not in short supply, but they should be, AWSOME reciever.

    How far can you reach???

is that your zip? or the zip of where you want to get signals from? but based on that on antenna web, you are gonna want a medium grade outdoor antenna, and it all depends on the terrian as well.

approx 30 miles away...indoor an option?

I am in the number 19 dma, and I can tell you for a fact that not all the stations are full power, only 3 of them are, the others cannot go full power becuase they are transmitting digital on a channel that has analog in the adjacent dma I am in the Sacramento DMA, now, I am at the very south...

    How far can you reach???

I am guessing you are trying to get burlington? I can't really say, because antenna web is only giving me a PBS station out of Windsor for your location, on channel in analog, well, like mentioned before, it depends on your terrain, and if there are mountains between you and the transmitter, but...

approx 30 miles away...indoor an option?

30 miles is pushing it for reliable reception, though I do agree with snaggerbob, the silver senser is your best bet and you can take it back if it doesn't work, at about 30 miles from the transmitter, you can set up a mid range UHF antenna with a mast mounted preamp or a VHF/UHF combo...

    Need Info On HDTV antenna?

If you are any kind of decent distance from the TV transmitters, you might be better off going with an outdoor antenna, I don't reccomend indoor antenna's for any one, only because TV signals don't work well inside.. get a decent antenna rated for you location outside with a mast mounted Pre...

    Sacramento HD Locals problem....

Dont waste your money on the radioshack garbage, their preamps are noisy as hell, I know, I am using one and its killing my signal, don't get me wrong, it helps, but not as much as a better amp that you can usually get cheaper off of fleabay, Channel master 7775 is a good one for UHF only, but...

    Ota Epg

I hear yeah, but having the locals on tv2 comes in handy for me, lets me record the standard definition stuff with out bothering my local HD viewing, and well, lets me watch Conan in bed with out having to manually punch in the numbers for the subchannels.. Atleast we have a choice for channel...

    Review: AT&T U-VERSE

I find it funny how there is a head room of 70megs on the copper coming into the house, but they can only allow one HD stream, (though it could be head end bottle necks) Then there is the fact that they are still limiting the Broadband speed to 6mb, I have AT&T Dsl right now, and I am on the 6...

    Sacramento HD Locals problem....

Ok Foldie, you can use the OTA on the 942 for high def even though you don't sub to high def content, for an antenna, I bought off ebay, but you can call cox antenna out of modesto, and he might be able to hook you up quick, or you can get a good UHF Yagi from radio shack, and a preamp, those...

    Ota Epg

well, I called dish and added locals, I figured I could use the SD locals on TV2 and what happened, I got guide data on my OTA.... I guess you have to subscribe to your locals in order to get the guide info on the new firmware. I guess L289 isn't much of a blessing, the only thing I have...

    Sacramento HD Locals problem....

are you using ota or Local in Local? and what city are you in trying to recive the sac channels via ota if you are using ota? I have a 942 and I am using sac locals Via OTA here in Turlock, here the antenna needs to be aimed in different directions for best signal on different channels, 3, 6 and...

    942 - L2.89 update coming?

well, maybe I should unplug it and see, I am getting my locals just fine, it could be one of the low powerstations that isn't quite atsc, or a little off because they are testing... don't know, but I do my Locals are working now, but the guide data is gone...Its ok, I love my 942
