Auction of the Upper C-Band Frequencies

Well, my take is, it's a hobby for most of the members of this site. If the broadcasters feel it's important enough and in their best interests to protect the spectrum, they'll lobby and plead their case. Nothing the rest of us can do. I guess the silver lining (if any) is they don't want KU...

Silicondust launches Grand Slam MDU TV

Ballsy, considering OTA as we know it may be disappearing. No mention of ATSC 3.0 or DRM compatibility in the specs. A bargain at only $16,000! https://www.silicondust.com/commercial/mdu/ https://shop.silicondust.com/shop/product/mdvr-16t250/

    Using commercial receivers for recording?

Does anybody have any experience with that Octagon SF8008 Supreme dual tuner receiver that Rick is selling? Can it output TS files? It appears to be similar to the Edision receivers that have a WebIf interface and streaming capabilities. https://rickssatelliteusa.com/sf8008supreme.htm
