It's the same WD 2TB I was using for my 211k. I tried a different 2TB drive and it didn't make a difference.

Didn't have to as I had the feature enabled on my VIP 211k. I made sure to activate the Wally before deactivating the 211k. I also have another active 211k which DVR is still functioning fine.

Tried to force a software update multiple time thru the diagnostic menu but it keeps on saying that I have the latest version.
