My second Hopper changed from "Basement" to R7485858444. I also can't view shows from my 2nd Hopper. I bounced both Hoppers, didn't help.

Thanks, that was it. Both Hoppers said node solo, after check they said duo. Surprised everything worked as well as it did.

Had 2H/1J installed yesterday, Blockbuster and on demand just take be back to Live TV. Does it just take a while? I thought it was would fixed overnight.

If I set a timer to record only new episodes of a PT show, will it use the PTAT tuner and then copy it over to the user side, leaving me with 2 copies? Can I set the beginning and end padding on the PTAT shows?

I just got done chatting with Dish. I changed my 1H/1J to 2H/2J. They would not let me do 2H/1J, but they did say I could cancel the 2nd Joey and have the tech take the 2nd Joey with him/her during the install.

You make some good points. Now I'm wondering if I should get 2H/2J and cancel the joey's (CSR's have said I could). It's too bad the Hopper can't emulate a joey until the integration is complete. I wonder how hard it is to change my order at this point.

I'm scheduled to get 1H/1J and was wondering what my chances are of upgrading to a 2nd Hopper once the integration in complete. I just didn't want to manage 2 DVR's. I can not justify 'renting' a Joey for the same price (minus $99) as a hopper.

Did you initially have internet hooked up direct to the hopper?

Thanks, you are dead on with the layout, but I'm now leaning towards moving the hopper into the basement. It'll save having to run a huge hdmi and make mirroring and hard wiring internet to the hopper a lot easier. This discussion does give me confidence in wiring HDMI over long (~50')...

Thanks for the reply. When I ordered last night, the guy said there would be no charge to hook it up to the Internet, so I didn't know if that meant free wifi stick, HIC, or just plugging an available ethernet cable into the Hopper. Try to decide if I should do the work of running ethernet...

Is there a chagre for the Wifi stick? If so, should I just run ethernet to where the Hopper will be?
