    You are right this is a hair brained idea. :) Just go back to to two divisions in each league and winners playoff in a best of seven to go to the World Series.

    Rose was a player manager until about 1987. So some of those allegations were during that time. I think he should be in the HOF too but can see why he's not. If he had just come clean back in 1989 I truly believe he would be in the HOF today. But he lied for many, many years about it

    Votto and Bruce have to be healthy and performing at their norms. If they do that the Reds will be in contention. If not, they will be last place. Pichers and catchers report Feb 18th. So its not long now.

    SEC did have 6 teams in the RPI top 55. That's a lot better than in the past. Also Joe Lunardi did have six teams in for his bracketology adding Tennessee being the last four out. SEC is still isn't great but it is much better than the last three or four years.

    IIRC, it is $129 for Premium. That includes the At Bat app which is worth that by itself.
