This dispute is going into week 3 now... yet no resolution. I think I will cancel my service before my next month bill starts by Nov 10th. No choice but going back to cable temporarily... I need CNN/TCM/Cartoon Network.

Dish rep keeps saying they're fighting Turner for my rights.. but they keep raising prices anyway on Feb every year. I already expect next Feb, I am going to see another increase on my bill for the doing nothing. I don't understand why Dish is forcing their customers to go thru this...

Thanks guys! I will see if I can get another 211k receiver from Dish. I like the idea of hopper but Dish charges too much for it. I wish there's a cheaper way to do this.

When I looked at the setup on my screen. it says it is pointing to 61.5, 72.7, and 77 (eastern arc). So, this must be dish 1000.4 ? 3 output + 1 input on the LNB? If I can find one open output on it, I can run a cable from it to the new receiver?

Nice, looks like with the new OTA module for hopper, one can get the sub-channels. Anyone knows how long one has to be ex-customer of dish for one to be qualified as NEW again? I was a dish sub 2 months ago, paid all my bills and returned all equipment - and now thinking of coming back to Dish.

Finally, managed to copy over everything except for shows that's 2 hrs long. Called dish up yesterday and they're sending me a new box for $15 shipping after talking to their 2nd level tech and finally convinced him that I got a bad 722k. Can't wait to get the new box in couple of days.

I just got an ehd enabled by dish... but then, I got a 10mins window (seems to max) to copy any files over before it auto reboots itself again.Have to do it one at a time. Files over 1.5 hr long can't be copied over because when it look longer than 10m, the stupid 722k reboots itself... darn...
