Is there even a device available that can take the DVI signal and record it? I was under the impression that the only recording option was Firewire anyway. Doesn't make sense that DVR boxes are coming out, yet copy protection is being enforced on an interface that doesn't even allow copying ???

ESPN is no longer Stretch-O-Vision. Now all the SD content is framed. You might want to check that.. I don't believe that any plasma set is 1080i native. What's the model #?
