Sorry for the newbie question. If I buy an in door antenna and run it through my hr20 will I have the option to record programs on locals in hd? If so, what channels would be my locals? Still 2, 4, 7 ? Any help would be appreciated.

Mkatts thanks for your help. I did what you said. Kept the components connected switched resolution to 720p and added hdmi and disconnected comp. cables. Works great. thanks to everyone else who replied.

Thanks I'll try that. When I originally set it up I chose 720P and not 1080i, should I go back and select both 720p and 1080i? does that matter?

Looking at Samsung 40" lcd. Will I have vertical bars on all non HDtv channels? Or if I turn native off, it will fill screen on any channel?

I have also heard no difference in customers who have paid 100 plus for Monster HDMI and compared it to HDMI for $20 with NO difference in picture quality. I asumme it would be the same for component cables.
