thank you very much. i have been trying to view my bill for two weeks. it's due today and i wasn't going to pay until i got to see my bill. this fix worked great for me on WinXP / IE7 / Adobe Reader 8.1.1
so i did my "move" last week and then added the locals in the market where i actually live (baltimore) via the website. everything worked great. until today. my baltimore channels are mysteriously gone. booooo... what happened?
anybody out there still have two dmas?
^ correct. 61.5 requires a second dish. 110, 119, and 129 are all pretty close together so it's possible to get three LNBs that see these guys all on one dish. getting 110, 119, and 61.5 on one dish would be an engineering marvel to behold.
My wife noticed last year that as it got closer to christmas the BYU Radio network (channel 980) had a lot of nice christmas music featuring, not surprisingly, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
i guess this is where i admit that my only real interest in this feature of the website was to take advantage of said flaw. i guess i missed the window of opportunity.
If I login to my account at dishnetwork.com, pick Add programming from the menu on the left, and then click to add Local channels, I always get the error message in the attached jpg image. Do other people have this problem?
they don't care. happy customers don't switch to cable. i pay for the channels i get. i just don't always get the ones the fcc thinks i need. dish network has bigger problems (read: pirates) to deal with. but i digress. anybody know what is going on with the error?
i'm about to do my annual "move" south to north carolina for better coverage of acc basketball season on fox sports net south and i figured this year i'll try and keep my baltimore locals while i'm at it. i have not yet done the "move" but will do it shortly. currently, when i login to my dish...

let me also say that if anybody wants help with "moving" but doesn't want to post on this thread, i am happy to answer questions via a PM.
^ yes. atlanta and nashville are the closest cities to you that have hd locals available at 129 degrees. you can see the whole list here:
EKB: Dish HD Locals
washington dc is on 61.5 but you don't have that dish.
^ not if you expressly tell them to change only your service address. just make sure they leave your billing address unchanged. or sign up for paperless billing.
enter your address and your neighbor's address here:

see if there is a difference...
