I'm using dish 1000.2. I'm having no problem seeing satellites 110 and 119. However, I'm told that living in the northeast I won't be able to see 129. Has anyone tried to repoint the dish and possibly pull in sat 91 and still see 110 and 119?

Thanks for any replies.

If you are northeast of a line from Baltimore to Buffalo, you should be using 110, 119 and 61.5.

129 is too low on the horizon for stable reception. There may be exceptions (if you live on the top of a mountain with clear SW horizon view), but your regional sports nets and HD locals ( if any) will all be on 61.5, not 129.

Thanks for the advice. I'm assuming that it's not possible see 61.5, 110 and 119 with just one dish. I guess I'll have to stick with just the 110 and 119 for now.

Thanks again

^ correct. 61.5 requires a second dish. 110, 119, and 129 are all pretty close together so it's possible to get three LNBs that see these guys all on one dish. getting 110, 119, and 61.5 on one dish would be an engineering marvel to behold.

So assuming that I don't want to put up a 2nd dish, what are my options for a 3rd bird using the dish 1000.2?
