Thanks for the info the power inserter is what I was worried about so it doesn't have to go too the dish itself it can be in the same room as the receiver? And I only have the 1 receiver in the whole house anyway. Thanks

Another dumb question, I have an HR24 with dual B band converters and talked to a rep about the HR34 and was told I need a SWIM? Is that installed at the dish or in the house? Will have try and do myself since there is a difference in my "home" and actual location.

SWM only Pretty much a noob when it comes to all this stuff, but what does it only being "SWM" mean? I am currently using a single HR24/500, only 1 receiver in home, so will I be able to just connect this right up in place of my HR24? Thanks

Hey I live in Pineville and use an address in Metarire(spelling?) and get all the New Orleans locals in HD plus a couple of other channels...I was using an address in Shreveport but believe or not the picture is better on the local channels coming out of New Orleans. Good Luck

Seem to be having sorta the same problem, for me its the hd channels were at the bottom of my screen the picture is jerky, it only does it on the hd's.. I am using a H21 DVR.
