the dish rep said if i signup for dish protection it is $50 to do a reinstall otherwise its $150. not sure whats the best option, whether to cancel and then just resign up -- though the hopper stuff is not what i want due to higher prices....

I will look for a local dealer but basically i have a VIP 622 that I own and just need like a 722 for an additional two rooms.

Do you know if they still sell the 722 receiver options as new customers? Those type of receivers meet our needs and I don't want to pay much extra. Thanks

I would try it for a year, but the thing is they require 24 month commitment during sign up, if I cancel after the first year, there is a $140 termination fee.
