I just had my service upgraded to HD with a 722K and the installer set it up with a 1000.2 dish but only two LMB's for 61.5 and 72. He said that this is a new configuration and that I didn't need the 77 sat. The dish is black and uses the same mount as my old dish500 antenna. I am in upstate new York.
I would like to buy a second antenna to use with my RV but can't seem to locate the right configuration online. Any help or info on this setup?

I don't need info about a dish 500. Dish installed a new oval, black, Dish HD antenna that uses a new two head LNB that focused for 61.5 and 77 sats. I haven't seen this configuration before and can't find it for sale either. Hope someone can provide a little info about it.

I am attaching a photo of the dish and LNB's IMG_2801.JPGIMG_2804.JPGHope this makes it clearer as to what I have.

I really wanted to see the new eastern arc LNB's. Interesting find. Also these LNB's don't have the internal switch I believe. They need to be driven by an external switch. Can you confirm? I have the eastern arc on Los Angeles with the three LNB's and would like to have 77 as well, just incase I need the 77 DMA's in future.

Thanks for asking about the RV hookup. There are three ways to connect an RV to Dish:

1) Your RV dealer can mount a mobile dome to handle this. Three3 manufacturers have been the highest and most recommended I have seen: Winegard, Kingdome, and Star-Track. For HD in the RV, this have a price tag around $3,000 and up.

2) Dish on a tripod mount. You will have to set it up wherever you park.

3) The Tailgater + VIP 211 system $499. This is incredibly easy to set up and use, and would need its own account, which can be activated and deactivated at will.

If you need additional information, let us know. We're always happy to help you.

Thanks,

I have two questions about this dish setup, 1. where can I purchase a second dish and LNB to use on tripod mount with the RV? 2. The "Point Dish Screen" does not give AZ, Elev or Skew info for the 61.5 and 72 sats. Only info is for a Dish500/300/Super antenna. How do I determine my proper setup angles?

I know all about DishPointer. The problem is that they don't support 1000.2 with 2 lnb's only the three lnb configuration. I know I can use the 1000.4 settings for EA elevation and az but don't know the correct skew rotation to use.
