He did likely mean memorialize. They agreed to certain things that now have to be written into the contract. You can bet the FCC getting involved and the their recent comments helped to hasten this apparent agreement.

Okay. I've only heard "memorialize" in the context of funeral.
It has the same meaning as that. Memorializing someone means to remember them in some way, with a speech or grave site etc... In the context of an agreement what was agreed to has be remembered, normally meaning it has to be written and both agree that was what was said and now that is correctly what in the contract before the actual contract is signed.

Incidentally, WGXA (both their Fox 24 and ABC 16 signals) is back on... guide still shows removed, though.
...or a few minutes. KOMO-TV is back up in the Seattle market as of 4 PM, with full listings though the news block. Everything else is still listed as "KOMO removed ABC 4".

"It's in the public's interest that the channels remain available", hence why the FCC got involved. I made that up, sorta, but it's a likely reason / excuse.
To me, it seems so - DISH went to the FCC and requested an emergency meeting. The Commission gave both sides 'til midnight to give their side of the story and there was to be a meeting with the Commission staff tomorrow... sure looks like Sinclair really didn't want to go to that meeting.

Good luck on this network. Credible and established networks can't even get covered on providers, Sinclair really thinks Dish is going to roll on this?
I am done with Sinclait and watching their news. Their reporters covered this b.s. and lied through their teeth on the reasons. Making it up is not journalism. Shame on Sinclair.
Walmart has an interesting definition of "locally grown". I would never say that all regualtion ois good but I do not see complete deregulation of corporations as a way to protect consumers. I don't believe everything i see in ads either.
Well, my friend (and I mean that), think twice about how much any state legislature is really gonna give a crap. They can't maintain basic, physical infrastructure, let alone "TV". Greatly over simplified, but I trust you get the point.
