Recovering My Dish Network Equipment Schematic wise

Edwin95 what are you trying to accomplish here? Maybe if we know the motivation we can help. The receiver sends 24v up to the LNB, yes it can shock you but not enough to hurt you just enough to be annoying. If you have a powered switch like an old SW64, the amperage it sends up is even higher.

Recovering My Dish Network Equipment Schematic wise

I went back and read all your old post. It's the sane thing for past two years and gotten nowhere. Because everything that was done in 2002 is no longer relevant. If you are getting shocked, you have an electrical issue somewhere. Either a grounding issue or a cable connector is making contact...

If I only know the receiver, switch, and lnb the technician used and having pcb board of the receiver, switch, and lnb. The receiver pcb board I currently have is closely matching the 3 serial numbers of the 3 receivers I used to have. But the two technicians is not sbca or nec certified. Will...

You can install multiple LNBs on a fixed dish to receive more than one satellite. Take a look at the descriptions and photos in this thread.

BTW I also removed a bunch of things we were no longer using, or no longer worked... For example, the automated Twitter Posting, which would post all new threads to our SatelliteGuys Twitter account. When Elon took over they changed the API to prevent automated posting like this. (I guess...

My first choice would be 99W. Lots of PBS and news feeds. But I'd quickly add a second LNB beside the one at the focus to catch 103W at the same time. 103W has a huge selection of commercial-free music channels if you can manually add audio PIDs or use an editor to do so. Check Lyngsat. We play...

Ok more hopeful good news. I have been having a hard time working on the site at home as my 2019 MacBook Pro is having issues. Apple wants over $700 to fix and I don’t have a spare $700 at the moment. So with the issues with the screen I have been limited sometime the screen works and sometimes...

Nice looking install! I am suprised both the dish and LNB look quite different than shown in the ebay listing. Usually that upsets people..advertise one thing, send something else. Its s nice looking dish, why not show what it really looks like in the ebay pictures? Anyways, I would go for...

Beautuful! It has no rust either. Mine has lots. I bet you can even read the scales on the bracket. It should be easy to line up to a satellite. Which satellite will you go for? But it looks lonely with no motor.

No motor on this one. I need to work on the art of setting everything correctly and using my Sat Hero for signal strength.
