Comet is my last remaining good channel for movies.

Comet is the last remaining channel, in my area, that has reliably good movies. Comet will often feature a good, recent enough, movie. How did we get here? ThisTV, which was one of the few channels to still feature recent enough good movies, has ended in my area, and seems to have stopped...

One week til the Eurovision Song Contest

Yeah, some of the networks open up their online streams for programming they can show worldwide. ARD also opens up their streams for their German telecast, ORF Austria usually does too. France Televisions opens up their streams for newscasts, but I'm not sure if they are going to do it for...

One week til the Eurovision Song Contest

While I suppose they could geoblock to the US at any time in the future, RTE has never geoblocked their broadcasts of the contest through RTE Player, their live and on demand streaming service. The live streams are good quality 1080p at 6 Mbps.

I need help verifying for recovering my old dish network equipment schematicly I used to have back in August 30 2002. I would like to reveal the two Dish Network technician names that came to my home for the installation at that time to find out if they are sbca or not because they worked for a...

Recovering My Dish Network Equipment Schematic wise

Edwin95 what are you trying to accomplish here? Maybe if we know the motivation we can help. The receiver sends 24v up to the LNB, yes it can shock you but not enough to hurt you just enough to be annoying. If you have a powered switch like an old SW64, the amperage it sends up is even higher.

Recovering My Dish Network Equipment Schematic wise

I went back and read all your old post. It's the sane thing for past two years and gotten nowhere. Because everything that was done in 2002 is no longer relevant. If you are getting shocked, you have an electrical issue somewhere. Either a grounding issue or a cable connector is making contact...

You can install multiple LNBs on a fixed dish to receive more than one satellite. Take a look at the descriptions and photos in this thread.

My first choice would be 99W. Lots of PBS and news feeds. But I'd quickly add a second LNB beside the one at the focus to catch 103W at the same time. 103W has a huge selection of commercial-free music channels if you can manually add audio PIDs or use an editor to do so. Check Lyngsat. We play...
