try using a powered hub between your drives and hopper. This is the way I have my WD and never had any problems. You have 2 drives and are asking a lot of from the usb ports of the hopper. Normally a usb port can provide only 500 ma. I don't the the power supply on hopper has that much in power...
Since the sound goes thru hdmi to my Samsung TV, I choose to pair my soundbar to the tv and not to the hopper. Never loose connection and still have great sound.
I have two hoppers running the 120 package. On the one with the latest software, 244, I get channels that I do not get with the second hopper running the last version. I should just feel lucky but I feel something is not right. Should I worry??
I was having the same issues. I resolved my problem by disconnecting pot to my HIC, after I did that, waiting about ten minutes, I restored power and everything has been working for the last 3 days!
I got the email and I called. They just told me that I could watch the missing programs on an xbox or ps3 if I had internet access. That the programs would also be available on itunes, amazon.com and on the Apple TV. I told her this is going to cost me extra! She then said that it shouldn't last...
I have the Sony Google TV and it does work through the IR codes. I even get movies that are on, programs, etc. When I select something it transmits the channel number through IR. Works about 90% of the time.
On my Joeys with S264, I keep getting an when changing channels, that I need to be in live mode. I'm already in live mode. This happened once in a while when using S263 but now it happens every night when using S264.
Problem with S263 on my joey. I have a channel list of my preferred channels. I just noticed that one of my local channels, channel 7 from Los Angeles, cannot be saved to the list. I edit the list, add the channel and it won't save! Any way around this???
I just compared the sound quality of the Dish Home Network vs my Sony Google TV. I'm using the Mezzmo server for both and I find that the quality of the Dish music is somewhat compressed and doesn't give me the full range that I'm getting with the Google TV. Just thought I would drop my 2 cents.
I now get a message from my three joeys that. A HIC is required for home networking from the joeys. Otherwise each Joey needs its own network connection!
