This issue was only for us with 1080i/p TVs, and it was trying to force the video to HDCP 2.2 which is for 4k... Though for me moving my TV to another output on my receiver that didn't support HDCP 2.2 fixed it for now.

Bingo that's exactly the deal here. It's a brand new Onyko receiver that's HDCP 2.2 compliant while my Samsung TV is a few years old so it's not. I don't have the 4 stream Netflix but their 2, so that's why I suspect it's a detection issue from the Netflix app. I'll try to log something with...

I'll try a different cable tomorrow, its not a bad idea. Also know that my Onkyo surround receiver is HDCP 2.2 capable but my TV is not. Wonder if the app is misreading the surround receiver HDCP capabilities and not working correctly.

No luck here. It looks like it's a detection issue. It fires up to detect HDMI capabilities, not seeing HDCP 2.2 and it's failing. I tried disabling the surround receiver in line, but still failing on the TV too. :( EDIT: Just to be clear, it looks like when the Netflix app starts, it tries...

Got 309 today, and Netflix hangs when it starts up on a black screen. Family not happy :( 1080P so no 4k here. Have to hard cycle the receiver to get it to come back. Anyone else?

Thanks for the super quick replies! That's a bit better. I noticed if all the tuners are going on the current hopper, Netflix launch time is pretty long. Hoping H3 was better :)

Thinking of upgrading to the H3, and one of my biggest complaints is the Netflix app on my current Hopper takes 10-30s to launch. Once I get into the app, it works ok. Is the Netflix app launch and interface any snappier on the H3? Thanks!

Been set to Speed for awhile... I think their status is off anyways as I've had movies on it say available now, not move, then check a day or so later and see "Very High Demand". Also seems fishy too as I'd get a bad disc (got a few in a row), would send in the complaint and disk would ship...

I tried the trick (haven't had to do it before) of moving all the "Now" items to the top and it finally unclogged a bit. Haven't had to do that before. :( Guess it is a sequential queue now? Before it never mattered as I'd get stuff regardless of where they were in the queue if available.

Well makes me wonder... if they are doing VoIP with Google Voice... does it really matter what the phone is? Ok so maybe your cellular won't work due to CDMA/GSM/etc, however over Wifi it shouldn't matter.

It's been a month, and so far so good. Very very occasionally we get a blip or breakup (versus total signal loss.) Happens so infrequently it's no big deal. :) May be my imagination, but the PQ quality looks better (more signal = more data = better picture?) Leaves will start to fall soon so...
