Leased. As I understand the fees, two-way shipping is $32 while $35 of Protection Plan covers shipping now and any problems with the replacement receiver for the next 5 months (to get past the cancellation fee period).

Dish's DTVPal DVR might do that with a software upgrade. It receives and records ATSC OTA and is broadband capable. Dish sold or licensed the rights to that machine to Channel Master.

So Matt, what happens when a new customer looks at the channel lineup on your web page, likes what he sees, places an order, agrees to a 2 year commitment, has a new install completed, settles back in his Lazy Boy, and then finds out he's not going to get all the channels advertised in his package?

I have the lowest tier Dish America (old Turbo Bronze). I'd probably move up to Silver if it had everything showing in the linked page.
