I have no late fees or non-payments. I've never missed a payment. WTF!?? And trying to get someone to talk to at Dish is nearly impossible.

ALL of my channels have been gone for the past 4 hours. Only thing showing up on the guide are PPV, On Demand channels and the Hopper How to on 103. Nothing else. Multiple resets have not helped.

Ok, I get it now. Mine is OTA not from Dish. Channel 008-02.

I have both. Dish version is 3 hours earlier too.

Mine was definitely a brain malfunction. It was making a clicking sound when I plugged it in that it never made before. Then I got a hard drive error message on screen. I did have a weak HDMI port on the 622 navychop. I settled for the component outputs instead.

I've never had this happen. I've had this HWS for 5 years and it's been great. Maybe that's a good run for one of these. I had 2 622s before and they never failed. I hope to be happy with the Hopper 3 I'm getting for $100.

It said I had the latest sw already. What fixed it was deleting all but 14 of the found channels on the scan OTA page. I guess it can only handle a certain number before it gets screwed up. I had 67 channels found.

WOW!!! I figured it out!! When I scan for locals I get 67 channels on the list. I deleted all but 14 and backed out of menu (still no save button). Went to edit favorites channel list and Fox 5-01, 02 and 03 were on the list! Added to favorites and they are now on the guide and working.

So I did the update and it took less than 5 minutes - really? Went back to the Upgrade software page and tried it again and got the message "Your receiver already has the latest software installed U238." This is HWS, is there really a U239?

Thanks for that! I'm doing the upgrade now. Maybe this will fix my issue. I hope! I thought SW updates were done automatically.

You're right. I saw the antenna icon in front of it and assumed it was OTA but since it's a -00 makes sense its a sat channel.

One other odd thing I noticed. Should there not be a "Save" or a "Done" button here? (pic)

Good suggestion but no locks or hidden channels are set. No passwords either. I'm still thinking it has something to do with that channel 006 being on the favorites list but not on the scan OTA page.

Well, reboot/rescan did not help. Contacted the "engineer" at Fox 5 Las Vegas. His response "The only thing I can say is that Dish does not carry our 2 SD sub-channels, only our HD 5.1". So he obviously doesn't understand this is an OTA issue. I'm sure it's a Hopper glitch but I've given up on...
