    You all are speaking of the Service plan, old DHPP. 95 to have a tech come out without it, 15 with it, nothings changed. If you had dhpp prior to switch over and have service plan now there is no cancel fee, if you add it on, 25 dollar fee, no matter if it's 30 days or whatever.

    Thee 411 IS actually the third receiver that can do the usb! The 211 is a usb connection, the transfer is just data streams so HD/SD is not a factor. A single platter 50-1tb USB 2.0 Self powered external hard drive will work just fine.

    The CC on High def connections is painted onto the screen by the receiver, on SD it is transmitted to the tv through the receiver.
