Anyone in the Los Angeles area just lose their local HD channels? Getting a 15a error. Unplugging did not help. Network channels are showing in HD.

Just got off the phone with Dish. $100 for the upgrade. $95 for the tech visit. Waived if I add the protection plan for $8 a month.

I'm thinking about it. I know it means another contract for I believe 12 months. Do I just call Dish and ask for a Hopper 3? Will it be mailed or does someone need to come out to replace it?

Is there a way to revert back to current UI?

I don't have any Joeys. The current UI has become very slow. Rebooting the box is not helping. I was thinking maybe the Carbon UI would have better performance.

That's great news. Any time frame? I'm seeing post going back to January regarding Carbon UI. Year is almost over. I might just follow Scott's post at http://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/threads/dish-hopper-carbon-ui-testing-forum-please-read.356679/ and download the beta version.

My PTAT saved recordings no longer get deleted.

They are shows that are being lost that are recorded under PTAT and also have a normal timer set.

Timer was created from the PTAT section.

I don't watch NCIS or The Mentalist. Do you watch Blood Bloods, Castle, Revenge, or 666 Park Avenue?

The bug that we have is where PTAT deletes shows that are older than 8 days even though there is a timer for it. I have PTAT turned on and have a timer for the Blue Bloods TV show. After 8 days, the oldest Blue Bloods episode gets deleted. I have a timer for Fringe, yet that show never gets...

This has been occurring since the Hopper got released. There is no specific pattern. Some shows on NBC delete and others don't for example.

I am certain engineers at Dish know about this issue. I just don't know why it has not been fixed.

1st episode of the new season of Blue Bloods & Scandal got deleted even though I have a timer setup and had it protected. Yet other older PTAT recordings are still there. I'm surprised more people aren't complaining, unless people are watching the shows within a week.

S213 fixed the problem for me! I no longer have recordings older than eight days old in the PTAT section.
