Surprisingly, my wife has been relatively silent about the transition too. I occasionally still hear about the transition from the old DTV Tivo based DVR though. THAT was a rough one for her.

I created a folder for my wife's shows and changed her timers so that they're all supposed to go into the folder. It seems that at first they don't automatically do that. I have to go into one of the menus and add the show to the folder manually. Then it seems to stick.

Thanks all for the responses. In the end it seems that there's not much I can do, or any support available from Dish that will take care of this issue.

I'm fairly sure they're recordings made on the original Hopper. I haven't noticed this issue on current recordings. Still hoping for a software fix, it's not worth the hassle of changing out the Hopper for a different one.
