Yeah, this happened to me tonight and I can't physically get up there to clean it off. Have to wait 'till it melts.

Update: I haven't recieved a call yet and calling back to Directv has resulted in yet ANOTHER phone line disconnection. Looks like since they do not want to send me the device, I will be going to Dish network. I have been waiting for over a month to get this settled and this is freakin'...

Still zero of them in the Detroit Area. Now it is past two weeks.

Still waiting for mine, been two weeks and they didn't even call to tell me they were going to cancel! Then they lied about having 500 units coming in and today they said they were out and they would call me before they send someone out with one. I called 6 times, got hanged up 3 times...

And that is why I wouldn't mind a lease if I traded in.

I'd be glad to play very very little (or zero) to send in my current unit for a trade for even a leased unit for now :D

And to hope that they will at least give me some kind of credit for a trade-in. I got my h10-250 in Jan. for $700 and I don't think I need to spend another $300 to *lease* a new box waiting for locals.

... and they want to charge me $300 to get the new H20 unit to my house while I pay $700 at circuit city early this year for the h10-250.. ...Not really fair.... :mad:

My local installer told me the update would be free, I'm in the Detroit market (Currently have the h10-250). What a lying scumbag..

Does anyone know what B&M store has a silver sensor antenna for sale? On either Walmart.com, Meijer.com, Radioshack.com, Abcwarehouse.com, Circuitcity.it doesn't show that they sell one, and I'm about fed up! :( Are they this rare to find?

One more question.. How will the HD programming look on my 4x3 HDTV compared to a 16x9 one? :)

I just had DirecTV installed in august with a triple LNB, how hard would it be to take out my DirecTivo and replace it with a HR10-250. I want to upgrade to an HD-TIVO. Just hook up the satellite feeds in their respective tuners and call DTV to activate the unit? I'm in Detroit and want to...

Well, just got a new Samsung Slimfit 30 inch wide screen TV (with built-in ATSC) and OTA HD (using 22dB amplified rabbit ears) is pretty cool, but I know I'm going to be reemed through the nose if I want to upgrade my D10 to a MPEG4 receiver :(

I see, I will wait until the HD-DVR comes out and make a verdict. (Btw I have my Xbox 360 hooked on my TV, its s-w-double e-t!
