    Outernet Lighthouse

The only way this has worked for me is to create a folder under the "files" directory in the tree. I loaded all off the data to that. It seems to just allow me to download the files from the lighthouse rather than display them in the library. That is ok for now. I am waiting for the core stuff...

    Outernet Lighthouse

Sounds good. I will give it a try this week when I have some time.

    Outernet Lighthouse

I received my Lighthouse this week. I want to place it at a hunting camp where I have a small antenna farm in place. I was wondering how you add your own content to the device without uplinking it. If I had a copy of the wiki site on an external drive would the software on the lighthouse...

Ever heard of 70's clasic called Space 1999?

Hulu Plus has them. As much as I enjoy hokey scifi this show tended to annoy me.

    Time for Removal

I'm pretty sure I can find a home for it. I'm not too far from you in Cumberland County. I'll do some checking around with a few guys that don't really use the internet and see if I can find a place. I don't know if I can fit anything else where I would use it.

Sat2IP for Windows -- Stream from your Amiko Mini HD SE/RE to Windows

I finally got my system back up this week. This is working great for me. I was looking for an easy solution to do this and now the search appears to be over. Thank you!

    Man Cave Picture, Post Yours

I don't have an FTA man cave. I haven't had any man cave since we had our two sons. So while I would love to show you what my original man cave looked like pre children I am now stuck with a few shelving units and an undersized tech bench in my basement. My man cave is loaded more with spare...

    72W Non-Motor Question?

I used one of the TurboHD and it comes in great. I suspect the smaller dish would work but as others have said it would be subject to the normal issues of an undersized dish. http://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/threads/first-non-standard-install.342032/

    OETA Problems?

I don't think I ever locked OETA on 125. I have been having issues with the other channels on and off over the past week or so.

OTHER I only get a picture with signal meter attached...

Maybe the LNB is not getting power from the receiver. Check your receiver settings to verify that the lnb power is on. A powered meter would be providing power to the lnb so it would work then.

Contest: Enter to Win a Titanium Satellite PLL C-band LNBF - Ends Oct. 20, 2014

C2PLL Wideband ™ - Dual (2) Output PLL wideband (3.4 - 4.2GHz) I already have one of the singles. Would be nice to have the flexibility of a dual.

    Button hook mounting bracket

I saw that. I was worried that the ID wouldn't allow me to slide it over the current pole. They have a warning on the site about making sure the diameter is is a little larger if you plan to telescope the pipe. I ordered stuff from them for my CNC machine. I might give it a try. It isn't too...

    Button hook mounting bracket

I was able to bust through the rocky soil last weekend and managed to get the pole in the ground for my dish. I won't get back there until the 10th to try and get the dish actually mounted. I had taken a bunch of pictures of the install but my stupid phone went wonky and I lost the pictures...

    Antenna stacking thoughts

Yes. I would have to lie to them about where the Dish is in order to get local channels. Besides, I know that I can get Dish there. I have had that and DTV in the past. There is no fun in trying to get that to work.

    Antenna stacking thoughts

Thank you. I appreciate any additional new reading material. Hadn't seen that site before. Yes. The area this needs to go in is pretty difficult. It takes me 45 minutes to get to cell reception. Let us not even try to discuss internet. This is a weekend home so it isn't a big deal. But it is a...

    sg6100 motor problem

I'd ask some basic questions for troubleshooting. You may have looked at some of this stuff but I want to make sure: What receiver do you have? Do you have any signal on the receiver on any sat? Are you able to see any channels? Are the connections all good? Have you tested the coax to your...

    OTHER GeoSatPro HDVR1200

The workaround I do is to manually add channels that you want to not get scanned over. Then when they scan in with a different name they won't overwrite the channel that you added. You can then delete the one with the name you don't want.

Moving. Need advice on planning new dish farm.

I'm pretty big on the rig something up to work thing. Having climbed many towers and used commercially build tilts I would suggest that rigging is not the word I would use. I don't know how comfortable I would be with a homebrew tower that close to my house. If it were in the middle of a field...
