Does the Hopper 3 work with non 4K TVs? I just contacted a Dish customer service representative who told me that since I don't have a 4K TV that the Hopper 3 would not display the best picture quality on my 720P TV. Is this true?

If I upgrade my 622 to a Hopper system do I need to have all the wiring replaced or upgraded? Or can they just install the Hopper using my current wiring and dish?

I watched a YouTube video last night where a LogicTech rep was demoing the Revue. He did mention that the Revue sends commands to the Dishnetwork receiver via the network connection.

Thank you for the reply but that really wasn't the question. Dishnetwork said that they working on an update to allow multiple external drives to be connected at the same time. Just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about when this update may be available.

Last year in one of the tech chats it was mentioned that Dishnetwork was working on a software upgrade to support mutliple external harddrives being connected to an HD DVR receiver. Anyone heard of where Dishnetwork may be at with this upgrade?

WD MyBook Essentials 750GB works great for me. It's very small, quiet, holds a lot and stackable for when Dish allows multiple external drive support. I picked one up at Best Buy for $199.

I had a 721 previously. The 721's fan didn't run that much but I did hear the hard drive from time to time. The 721 didn't bother me but the constant whine of the 622 is annoying. I guess I will talk to my retailer about a replacement. Thanks for the resonse.
