My experience yesterday was as yours. A little different amounts. As I already had the classic 250 with gold hd and plat hd. Checked my online account after it was not available to view yesterday and had 2 credits of 8.06 and 1 charge of 8.06. So all is good and I will save 10.00 a month.

I am running TV2 to all sets, about 6, on channel 57. Also am running TV1 to all locations on channel 60. Even put tv2 on the main set, a 50" plasma, on an a/v input. With a 722 your only limited by what cables you have running in the house. Lots of flexibility.

This is part of the software upgrade to 6.10 and Turbo. Same thing has happened to all the rest of us as far as I know. You will now use channels 501 for VOD movies, not the Dish on Demand as was before. Legend will show up on channel 501. When you get it, you will see it there. Nick.

I can say that my setup, 722 and Pioneer 50" plasma I have not seen what you are experiencing. Both your examples looked great on my setup. Blue Ray its not, but In my case very good pictures. I wonder if you have something else not right at your location.
