    1000.4 dish array

    Looking at 1000.4 dish from the front, 61.5 is on the left, 72.7 in the middle and 77 on the right. Isn't this opposite to how the sats sit?

    I'm getting my locals (Buffalo) on 61.5, Transponder 13 - Spot 4. I'm also seeing a Spot beam on 11. Where is this? It seems to come in as strong as my HD locals on 13. Thanks for any info.

    LNB with no cover?

    I saw one one of the forums, that you have used LNBs without their plastic covers and I can't find the thread again. Have you had any problems with them? Would you recommend some form of covering over them?

    LNB plastic cover

    Can a dish LNB be used without the plastic cover. (Dish Pro or Legacy). It appears as though the cover is merely cosmetic because the LNB itself is sealed. Does anybody recommend it be covered with anything?

    I get a very strong signal on TP15 in WNY. Am I correct that the only spotbeam centers on TP15 are Bangor, Bethpage, Raleigh, Atlanta, & Miami ? Could I possibly be getting the NY spots from Bethpage since the other spots appear to be too far?

    DPP44 Switch Grounding

    In looking at the Dish recommendations for grounding, they don't show the switch being grounded even though it has the connections on it for grounding. Should it be grounded? The sat inputs all pass through a ground block ahead of the switch.

    When I began to watch Star Wars on my 211, it started off in Dolby 5.1 then became standard stereo. Did this happen to anybody else? I don't know if its DISH, the 211, or my Yamaha amp.

    211 Locals problem

    All my Detroit locals are located at 8030 and up. I had them at their actual channel numbers (2, 4, 7, etc.), and now can't get them any more at their own numbers. I also lost the HD locals and the 211 won't scan them. The HD locals don't even come in when I choose the channel numbers...

    How much more gain will a 33" dish give over an 18" dish? I'm seeing a level of 40 (out of 125), and need to get about 70 or greater to get a lock.
