If you want to play blu-rays you might consider the V series. They have 24p playback on a 24 multiple (96Hz I believe versus 60 on the G) and thus have no juddering versus the G's. Good luck.

FYI running slides...... Slides are simply meant to help evenly burn the phosphurs to get to a magic number (usually 100 hours or so). Feel free to watch TV, however stretch the 4:3 to fit the whole screen. Watch as much as you want, simply move the settings for contrast and brightness down...

I forgot to mention in my original post that dolby digital is off.

My older H20 receiver was starting to pixelate (is that a word?) certain HD channels (ESPN, TNT, USA, TBS, Spike, etc.). So Directv sent me a new H21 to replace it for free. Now every time I change a channel (except for the XM Radio channels where this does not happen) there is a loud audio...

I was simply redoing a previous search and that does not seem to work. You have to retype in 30SKIP or 30SLIP for it to work.

those are channels you do not receive i believe. i tried searching for "30SKIP" on a keyword search and it finds nothing. how can you change from the default (slip i imagine is the default)?

because the last 3 seasons were not when they easily could have been. shawn ryan has also stated he likes the gritty look and feel of the show as it is on the season five dvd. trust me i love the show like everyone else, but i'm not holding my breath. i only hope the next season isn't the last one.
