But that is the problem. It is set up to use the volume on Aux. But when you press the Aux button the Hopper tries to exit Netflix.

Not an option on my old Sony Receiver. I need to use the AUX button on my Dish Remote. Only real fix is to drag my original receiver remote back out. Which I really don't want to have to do.

I could care less about CBS and their stupid 7 day contract. Do they really think people are just going to suddenly watch commercials because the autohop is turned off for a bit? That is crazy.

I can't believe this is still "Coming Soon". This has gone beyond being a joke on us. And at what point did the 30 second skip button become so sluggish? Months ago it used to be snappy as can be, and for a long time now it stops and starts like a car on a wet road.

I agree. They let us have a taste of the good life in the previous software version then yanked it away. I curse Dish every time I first load up the guide now.

It happened to me yesterday and I did not even really notice at first. I remember thinking the 30 min. show ended fairly quick. Then when my son re-watched the show today, I noticed and entire section of the show that I had missed. So far this is the only time it has happened that I know of.

Can you manualy add an OTA channel on S 238 or does it still tell you that this feature is coming in a future update?

That blows. I have a local situation where a new low power station has come online that is getting picked up instead of my full power CBS station. They both use 6.1 as their number and I need to be able to manually enter my CBS station.

Does anyone know if the new software allows you to add a single OTA channel without doing an entire rescan yet?

I'll have to check my software version after work. I am sick of losing my OTA channels and external drive. This will be a much welcomed update.

My favorites list is constantly dropping my CBS channel. Funny thing is, sometimes it drops the OTA channel and sometimes it drops the Satellite channel. I have grown quite tired of constantly adding it back.

luckily with PTAT, I do not record anything off the OTA channels. I just use them for my live TV viewing. The constant black screens make it too unreliable to record off these channels. Just lucky that I never record anything from the CW or MeTV or I would really be pissed. If Dish ever gets...

My brother is having the exact same problem with our ABC station KBMT 12 in Beaumont, TX. Both of his Hoppers will not allow him to save programs from PTAT on ABC. However it works just fine on my box running the same software. Very strange problem.
