50 miles isn't too far for OTA. I'm in Eastern WV, 60 miles from Washington DC, and about the same from Baltimore. With an amplified antenna, I can get all of D.C.'s locals and many of Baltimore's.

MattG, theoretical question: Since the Joeys do not work without a Hopper, wouldn't it be OK just to move the Hopper to a different location?

Not a business, but I've always enjoyed walking across the Rainbow Bridge between Niagara Falls NY and Niagara Falls Ontario, and stopping in the middle with one foot in the U.S. and one in Canada. I don't know if my privates were dual citizens or men without a country.

Is there a reason that you want to purchase the equipment? Your monthly charges will be the same if you have Dish provide the equipment for you. The benefit to purchasing is that you can have one or more of the boxes deactivated and save the fee and not have to return anything; then activate...

Pushing the big red button puts the Joey in standby mode. Pushing the little TV button turns off your TV (if your remote is set to control your TV).

Actual 1920 x 1080 would be nice.

I received the 6030UB today. I haven't had time to calibrate it, but I'm delighted with the picture out of the box. Creature of the Black Lagoon, playing on my Oppo 103D Blu-ray player, looks marvelous in 3D.

I just received my Epson Pro Cinema 6030UB today. Connected to my Oppo 103D, I couldn't be more satisfied with my home theater.
