    profile 1.0,1.1 and 2.0 argument

    Why is it that everytime/most of the time the HD-DVD crowd start to lose an argument they bring up the profile 1.1 and 2.0? How many people actually care? I purchase or rent a BD to actually watch the movie. I know that may seem strange to some :) but hey I'm different.

    I'm going to purchase a PS3 to play my blu-ray movies and wanted to know if the unit is noisy? How loud is the 40G drive and cooling fan? I have a PS2 now and think that is noisy.

    ps3 vs Sony 300 player

    are there any features I wouldnt get purchasing the 300 player vs the PS3? I dont play games but for $25 extra I cant find a reason not to purchase the PS3.

    HR10-250 box upgrade?

    I think I need to upgrade to a HR20 or HR21 box since the new HD channels will be moved to the Mpeg4. Will D* try and charge me for the new box?
