More Important on the 721 ! Please fix the timer bug that when 2 show are set to record at same time one gets 16 to 19 seconds, the other will record normal. Running L116, the 721 does this mostly when unit is turned OFF in unattended mode. If unit is ON it will display use main to record...

Just got off the phone with Advanced Tech support... Well folks...the infamous L115 "upgrade" put the final spike in this 721, it has been stuck at L112 since the 10/13 download that crashed the system. Nobody at Dish Advanced tech. support has been able to get it to take any kind of an update...

L115 still a no show! After talking to many in advanced tech support They are going to advance replace on thursday if no change...in other words the dont have an f'ing clue :(

721 abd version l115 Wekk Just got 115 and surprise it fried the 721 and sent it into constant reboot cycle. Spoke to dish advanced tech, they got it to reimage the drive to 112 and to leave it off and hope the upgrade respools....Anyone else have the download fail? RC

Superdish Install Questions I am currently running a model 6000u/8vsb, and 721 I have 3 rg-6 lines running to the receivers. What additional equipment will I require? The DNSC in this area are not the swiftest around So I am starting my research before the nov 1 deal begins. RC

new 6000 software From the looks of things it added superdish (SAT 129) It also added ofther satelite choices in the new menu. I do not have anyway to download a screen shot that would be readable

OTA antenna purchased in advance turk-42 $49.95 clips onto dish 500, it uses the existing wiring and a diplexer to split signal at your 6000...Any more questions feel free Rich

Anyone know if the 6000 will work with standard tv till I upgrade to hdtv? I need to sell a 55" sd projection tv first befre I go buy the new hdtv version
