    So I'll have a coax from the sat to the Hopper (good, hopper on 1st level), a data line from router to hopper (hope so, CAT 6 already installed to wall outlet), than install a wireless access point into the hopper via CAT 6 cable and locate at the hopper. That layout will work...thanks

    Curious as to what Uverse DVR problems he was having. I switched when we moved (for the wireless receivers) and other than picture quality, which Dish was better, the DVR works fine. I found no real difference between my 722 and 612 and Uverse's DVR.

    612 question

    The 612 has known problems. When I was on Dish, I went through 3 units. Mostly isolated to coax connection from OTA. Shorts something out. You'll have to get another one from Dish, problem won't solve it self

    Long time Dish customer who recently switched to ATT Uverse specifically for the wireless receivers. I now am contemplating switching back to Dish and getting cable internet access. Does the Joey still operate over WiFi and while using a Joey (or 2) wirelessly, will my bandwidth be degraded?

    After leaving Dish for wireless Uverse receivers (new house old plaster walls) but I miss Dish and I want the Hopper/sling combo. But, are Joey's still running good over WiFi and does it slow down WiFi at all? I have 12Mbs download now with airport extreme wireless thanks

    KSDK here in St Louis. I switched to Uverse and will call dish Monday to cancel. I'll use the dispute as reason and see what I can get out of them. I'll report m results. It's really getting old with dish and these disputes.
