Question then. With the Invacom LNB's ability to receive FTA, Directv, and Dish Network signals, does this mean one could in theory use a directv switch on a FTA receiver and a Dish Network receiver??If so, that would be huge! Or would a person run one side of the dual to the Directv switch...

I purchased mine from an ebay seller. It took me a couple of days of going back to ebay to actually find one. But, I got mine for $89, shipping included. You can purchase 90 cm and 100 cm new dishes from on-line dealers. The only problem is though, they charge as much or more, in some cases...

With MPEG 4 coming down the road is it smart to go for a FTA satellite receiver now, or should a person hold off on it until things switch over. FTA sounds kinda neat. I'd like to get my feet wet, but don't want to get soaked twice in a short amount of time. $$$$
