The HC3800 has a 29% image offset. If your screen is 52" tall like mine(106" diagonal) the image offset is 15".

    Mitsubishi HC3800 projector !!

This is one awesome, beautiful, 1080p DLP projector. This is the one I should have bought to begin with. But I wanted to save a little money, so I bought the Benq W1000. The Benq did look very nice, except the rainbows. So far I put 10 hours on the HC3800 and it produces a great image. NO...

Benq W1000 projector in the house !!

W1000 Well, I'm returning the W1000. I should have waited a little longer before posting my thoughts. The image is great, but the rainbows are not. I first thought it was because the W1000 is much brighter than my HD1000, so I gave it a little more time. Then I called Benq and it turns out the...

Benq W1000 projector in the house !!

Well, I've had it a few days now and I'm VERY impressed. I wanted to calibrate it and watch a few movies before posting my thoughts. The W1000 is a nice upgrade from my Mits. HD1000. It is a 1080p, DLP projector, so of course it's an upgrade in resolution. It struck me immediately that the W1000...

    New Sub 1k 1080p Projectors

Well, I'm finally upgrading my good ole HD1000. I sent it in for repair of color wheel and another issue, and the ext. warranty company(Warrantech) decided not to repair it due to cost. They are sending me a VISA gift card, for the price I paid for it!! Anyway, I'm replacing it with the new Benq...

    New Sub 1k 1080p Projectors

I'm surprised they're selling it. Just for kicks, I put it in my cart to see about an ext. warranty price, and no ext. warranty pops up.

    New Sub 1k 1080p Projectors

Projectorreviews.com has also reviewed the HD20. I'm waiting for the reviews of the new Mits. HC3800. That will probably be my next projector. A little more money, but it sounds like it will be worth it.

Waht do you think of this PJ Deal

I agree, not bad, IF it's all true. BUT 2 hours on the bulb? I HIGHLY doubt that. Anyone can reset the bulb timer and hours go back to zero. I would buy a new projector amd make my screen(that's what I did for about $40), and you'd still be way under $1,000. Then you'll have a new projector...
