    I agree. When I had a 6ft dish cband would do similar things at night. With the 10ft same lnbf , wiring, pole and motor its solid. Sorry I cant be of more help.

    Its moved to one of the satmex satellites I think and it is now encrypted there. I heard it was scheduled to be shut off in march but they transitioned early.

    C-Band pole setup

    I put the pole for my 9ft aluminum DH 5 ft down. 1ft down was pure sand. I had to line the hole with 5 gallon buckets with the bottoms cut out as I dug down to keep the sides from caving in. 12 bags of concrete in the hole hahaha.

    Wow up north here i can get shepherds chapel with pie pan and a wire. That feed is booming. It used to drown out pbs-x analog when it was on 101w but they moved to the digital feed on 103w now for cband.

    WSI 6foot dish

    I had a 6ft wsi for 2 years. Mine was ok. The big issue i had was where the actuator bolted onto the angle iron on the dish. The hole for the bolt was way too big causing slop. Had to tack a weld on the bolt. Ive since replaced it with a 9ft DH. Much better.

    I have another dsr4200C here. Its not authorized and wont even get any FP or ZK stuff without authorization it seems. I have a signal lock (7) on diag screen C for the Music Choice mux but no VCTs ever load in. I think this is a model that needs to be authorized before receiving anything? Thanks

    8.5ft cband dish

    Well Here is the dish folks. Finally got it installed and tweaked. Its 8' 8" so almost 9ft solid aluminum. Pulling in everything strong. NBC's on AMC18, ABCs on 99w etc.. 84qual there.     Also look at the co-ax that was from the chaparell feedhorn to the service box. Its super thick 6core coax or somehin. Never seen it before. Regular rg6 from the service box to the house.

    Here is the dish at my place. Painted it gray. Came out pretty well compared to my original pics. Notice my 6ft dish and hughsnet converted fta dish with a qph-031 in the back. Have the hole for the new dish right in front of it since thats the only place to see the full arc to 139w from 60w
